Listen now | What do SJWs and Mormons have in common? How can you support a loved one who’s self-destructing through politics? Are paywalls contributing to the spread of low quality news?
As a rabid right winger who is, of course, a bad person, I watched this whole episode and enjoyed it. You both seem nice. Naturally, I disagree on many things, but it's refreshing to hear different perspectives once in a while.
Oh, and don't look up people online -- it's almost always a waste of time and people you like or admire are best left to your imagination. Your mind's eye is a much kinder place than the internet (well, if you're healthy psychologically, at least).
Democracy was not on the ballot in November in America. That was wild hyperbole and many, many intelligent people fell for it. Trump is at worst a vulgar classical liberal with a penchant for showmanship and exaggeration.
"They're dead, they don't get money for it" was always a justification I would use for supporting certain problematic people during my woke days (though I've always had negative songbun in some people's eyes, since my parents are conservatives). There was one girl who tried to shame me for loving Anna Karenina. Tolstoy is dead, dead, dead. Problematic or not, he wrote some wonderful books, end of story. So I had to draw that line in the sand of "dead person=cannot make money from it=who cares how problematic they were" fairly early.

Anyhow, toodles!
Woah this is insanely great information

One definitely starts looking for loopholes when faced with such strict rules!
That would be so awesome
It would be so great to have written transcripts of these❤️❤️❤️
Hi Joanne—thanks for letting me know! Would your preference be to see the full transcript under the show notes?
Yes that’d be great. You could set it up through a link. I’ve seen this on other podcasts.
I will look into this! Thanks again.
